Not entirely sure what would spring to mind if you asked the average person to describe your average Australian house. Before I emigrated here I probably wouldn’t have picked something like the one below, but believe me when I tell you that it’s a quintessentially Aussie abode.
There’s a squillion wineries around where I live. This particular one isn’t actually in business yet – they only planted the vines about 18 months ago and they’re not mature enough yet to make a decent wine making grape. However the weather was great when I took this shot and I love the way everything lines up.
Was taking photos around the coastal path between Bondi and Tamarama and this jogger appeared at the bottom of the steps.
